Project Structure of the 3D Face Project

3D Face is a integrated project for developing an advanced biometric recognition system in a coherent way. The integration is evidenced at three levels: management, research stage and functionality.

The management of the project will be strongly integrated in order to avoid independent activities for the independent work packages.

The overall structure of the project is shown in the figure below:

The functional links between the work packages shown in the next table demonstrate that 3D face is an Integrated R&D project. The table concentrates on the first 18 months and also give some links between the next months as an example. Each work package will provide some outputs for other work packages to benefit from its inputs. The information exchanged will have to be characterised and formatted through the collaboration of the work package leaders.
